My Brain on Nails

So I need a new job....and well, I figure if I get really into it I can teach myself web development in a couple of weeks (months, years....) - I always was naive.

So I spent all day today going through the bloody and brain bruising process of installing Ruby on Rails and then the mental wrestling with concepts that are probably waaayyyy beyond me. (I've also always been a glutton for punishment.)

I started off easily enough - downloaded Locomotive - just in case the whole process wasn't worth it. And when things started to really crank. I said "y' know what, I think I can do this..." . I read up on hivelogic's Rails installation and then it was on to the mysql installation and....well...that's where by limited knowledge reeeally showed it's ugly head.

I made a new friend today, the problem is he only says one thing "ERROR 1045 Access Denied"....

...and now, it's break time...because if don't take a break RoR will break me....

I think I'll doodle for awhile....
